This is our first baby this year. Hatched on August 9th. The hen is blue and the cock is a Yellow Pastel. The pastels have great colors. The color mutation was also known as European Yellow. American yellow is a brighter bird with typical markings. The Europeans have a softer color and instead of a blue rump and undersided to their wings the color is purple.

This is Sparkles she is a Dilute Pastel. We have some stock that is  Pastel. This Pastel Color is a muted color mutation. The yellow mutation is known as European Yellow.

Sparkles likes to attack rattles and items that rattle. Mostley pill bottles do the best job!!

This is a natural response to this type of noise, Parrotlets also use the same noise to warn other birds to stay back or there will be an ATTACK...
